Ever-Read™
-
Ever-Read ensures GS1 Databar information printed at high-speed can be scanned and read correctly regardless of the challenges posed by high-speed printing on continuous labels.
-
Ever-Read allows GS1 Databar to be readable when labeled on a curved surface without crimping or fluting.
-
As it becomes a regulatory standard to show bar coded labels on fruits and vegetables, Ever-Read emerges the technology of choice to print produce labels economically.
Ever-Read is a patent pending method of printing machine readable images such as GS1 Databar with a 2D composite component at a high speed on a continuous label while ensuring the readability of bar coded information.
When high-volume labels are required to print individual bar codes on items like individual pieces of fruit, the traditional label printing will not be fast enough. Producers will want to use high-speed label printing such as flexographic printing.
However, a common problem with printing high speed flexographic bar coded labels is in the registration (the proper alignment of different images on a label including the GS1 Databar), because the images tend to shift at high speeds. Ever-Read enables high-speed label printing without compromising readability.
