Airship Management Services, which is the largest full-service airship company in the United States, is considered to be the worldwide leader in commercial and strategic deployment of airships. The company has been operating airships for over 25 years, and builds, services, supplies and operates the Sentinel Skyship 600 Airship, the largest non-rigid and most technologically advanced airship in use today. Headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, the company operates a design, manufacturing and maintenance facility in North Carolina.

AMS has operated airships for governments and government agencies, and businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, France, Argentina, the Dominican Republic and Trinidad. AMS airships have also supported security operations at four of the last five Summer Olympic Games.

With a two ton payload capacity, the Sentinel Skyship 600 can carry the most sophisticated surveillance equipment available and is ideally suited to monitoring terrorist, criminal, illegal border, and criminal activity and at-risk areas for governments and security agencies. As a surveillance aircraft, the Skyship 600 also has the most stable airborne platform available. Recent government assignments include deployment of the Skyship 600 by the US Navy & the US Coast Guard in the Florida Straits to monitor drug smuggling and illegal immigration; and the Special Anti-Crime Unit of Trinidad & Tobago to conduct land and sea based, anti crime and drug trafficking surveillance.

AMS can supply, operate and maintain the airship on a full turnkey or non-turnkey basis. Under the turnkey option, AMS operates and maintains the airship for the client, provides fully-licensed flight and ground crew, complete technical installation and installation support, and is responsible for the servicing and certification tests that are required by industry regulators (in the United States, this is the FAA.)
